About the Role

The Account Executive is a field-based position focused on selling Diagnostic Imaging products into hospitals, imaging centers, radiation oncology, etc. This role serves as the primary contact for customers investigating the acquisition of Siemens Medical Solutions products and services. Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve business objectives for the assigned territory, including penetration of accounts with product, solution, and service offerings.
  • Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, and demonstrate equipment capabilities.
  • Guide the development and execution of strategic account plans to ensure achievement of business goals and budgets.
  • Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management within customer organizations.
  • Communicate current market intelligence to decision makers within each account.
  • Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.
  • Lead territory team reviews and update account plans based on market, customer, and competitive activity.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in a related discipline or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3+ years of capital equipment sales experience to hospitals and/or imaging centers or equivalent clinical/technical experience.
  • Experience carrying large quotas and working with long sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated success at meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience working with sales quotas and forecasting.
  • Ability to travel approximately 75%.

Nice to Have

  • 3+ years experience in a sales role, healthcare field preferred.
  • Professional sales training in SPIN Selling, Strategic Selling, Professional Selling Skills, Miller-Heiman, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree.
