About the Role

The Account Executive - Evergreen Post at Sightpath Medical is responsible for the development, growth, and management of all SPM business within the assigned territory. Sightpath Medical is a leading provider of cataract and LASIK mobile ophthalmic services across the U.S., committed to excellent customer service and high-quality products for doctors and facilities. The role involves sales growth, account development, and business management to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively sell and promote the services provided by Sightpath Medical for the assigned territory.
  • Achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profitability targets.
  • Generate new business through business relationships and referrals.
  • Understand, communicate, negotiate, and keep current all contract agreements, addendums, renewals, and customer communications within the territory.
  • Think strategically in gathering, analyzing, and reporting data in support of territory management plans.
  • Develop plans, calendars, and schedule appointments 3, 6, and 12 months ahead.
  • Ensure proper pricing and contract terms agreement and understanding.
  • Provide facilities and offices with information on all services offered as well as accurate pricing and policies.
  • Conduct regular Business Reviews with existing customers.
  • Proactively identify Market Development opportunities for customers.
  • Prepare Targeted Presentations for new and existing customers to win/secure business.
  • Answer and resolve customer inquiries within committed timeframes.
  • Correspond with the Director of Sales and Operations staff regarding new opportunities within the territory.
  • Schedule meetings with the field-based operations team as necessary.
  • Collaborate with in-house personnel and Manufacturer's Representatives within the territory.
  • Organize territory efficiently to maintain controllable expense budgets.
  • Engage in renewal opportunities proactively.
  • Maintain and manage the territory pipeline for new business opportunities.
  • Participate in new customer onboarding processes.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of proven territory sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, HTML, and MS Office tools.
  • Experience in Salesforce CRM or similar CRM systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • Knowledge of the ophthalmologic or medical services industry is preferred.
