About the Role

EchoStar is reimagining the future of connectivity with a diverse range of services including satellite television, live-streaming, on-demand programming, smart home installation, and mobile plans. The company’s brands include Boost Mobile, DISH TV, Gen Mobile, Hughes, and Sling TV. The Retail Wireless team, serving Boost Mobile and Gen Mobile, is focused on redefining consumer expectations through innovative platforms, new business models, and a disruptive approach in the wireless market. The Account Executive role involves overseeing performance within a designated territory, collaborating with retail store owners, and driving sales and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit retail store locations and provide coaching, and training via role plays and side-by-side selling with sales representatives
  • Inspect and drive marketing campaigns at retail stores
  • Make daily calls to stores to help drive performance
  • Receive calls as the first point of contact to help resolve customer escalations
  • Maintain and drive accountability of Boost brand standards in all stores in the territory
  • Use local knowledge and real estate contacts to identify new retail points of distribution
  • Communicate with store owners to drive their business sales performance
  • Implement plans to exceed sales quota across the territory
  • Maintain an expert level of product knowledge for all Boost products and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post-high school
  • 4+ years of sales and/or account management experience
  • 3+ years of training, relationship development, planning, or business management
  • 1+ years selling wireless products or services
  • Must have a valid driver's license, three years of active driving history, completed driver's safety training, and comply with DISH's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines
  • Contract or vendor relationship experience
  • Ability to adapt well to change and work in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Available to quickly formulate and provide solutions for escalations during retail business hours
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to provide sales and marketing counseling to owners and sales representatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (implied by experience requirements)
  • Relevant industry experience in sales, account management, or wireless products/services
