About the Role

The Roku Ads Manager team is focused on scaling the best streaming ad platform in the market, democratizing streaming advertising for businesses of all sizes. The Account Executive role involves leading demand generation and client growth for Roku's self-serve streaming ad platform, helping advertisers achieve their marketing objectives through consultative selling, onboarding, and ongoing support. Roku is a fast-growing public company committed to innovation in TV streaming and providing advertisers with unique engagement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect potential advertisers and agencies who can benefit from Roku's solutions to grow their business.
  • Participate in all phases of the sales lifecycle including identifying and developing leads, meeting with clients, developing value propositions, and closing business.
  • Manage a high volume of accounts by identifying opportunities and prioritizing service according to revenue and potential.
  • Understand clients' business and translate marketing objectives into results for advertisers, increasing their investment on the Roku self-serve ad platform.
  • Communicate effectively with advertisers and internal stakeholders; identify and communicate opportunities internally to improve Roku's products based on advertiser feedback.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of digital advertising marketplace, buying models, and technology.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, growth marketing, and/or a client-facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and send a high volume of personalized emails and overcome objections.
  • Strong communication skills on the phone, via email, and through video demos.
  • Ability to operate at scale, using data to drive operations and execution.
  • Ability to collaborate with support and cross-functional teams while managing own book of business.
  • Ambition for building from the ground up and seeking constant improvement.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter mentality with a hunger to tackle new challenges.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in client-facing roles at ad networks or mobile gaming companies.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising marketplace, buying models, and technology.

Qualifications

  • Sales, growth marketing, or client-facing experience of at least 2 years.
