Account Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Supports the Account Executive with client retention and works independently to solve renewal related issues for existing business.
• Manages end-to-end renewal contract process and addresses day-to-day client needs.
• Identifies constituent-specific service issues, develops solutions, and may lead resolution efforts working with other areas.
• Provides constituents with policy, plan design, benefit changes, and network updates including impact analysis.
• Collaborates with the account management team to achieve growth and renewal objectives, and may assist in preparing and delivering renewal packages.
• Supports plan administration activities such as installation, open-enrollment, health fairs, plan set-up, eligibility, billing, and drafting, working proactively with support areas.
• Signs off on ID cards and may support constituent training on product and policy questions.
• Creates collaborative partnerships with sales to develop growth strategies aligned with customer objectives, financial position, and employee benefit strategy, including cross-sell opportunities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of account management experience in the healthcare field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and Salesforce.
• Must obtain resident insurance license within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).
