About the Role

The position is for a Sales Marketing role with a focus on Japanese bilingual communication, based in Livonia, MI. Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly contact and visit new and existing customers to discuss their needs and issues, and explain how the company's products and services can meet those needs.
  • Create strategies and plans to solve customer needs/issues based on project management experience.
  • Hold meetings with business partners to find the best solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare solutions and presentations to explain the company's offerings and how they address customer issues.
  • Give presentations and demonstrations of products or services to customers to communicate value.
  • Negotiate prices, conditions, and service agreements with customers.
  • Prepare sales contract documents for final applications.
  • Coordinate projects for implementing IT solutions with internal engineering teams and external partners.
  • Manage system implementations, troubleshoot customer systems, and overcome obstacles to meet timelines.
  • Maintain good relationships with partners and customers through regular contact.
  • Maintain customer records using automated systems.
  • Report sales activities to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Conduct research and investigations with team members, partners, and customers to identify new markets and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Business-level Japanese and English speaking skills.
  • Experience in marketing or planning to find new business opportunities.
  • Experience in direct business discussions with customers to develop or explore new business.
  • Project management skills, especially in finding new business partners.
  • Ability to identify customer issues through market research and discussions, then create solutions.
  • Team-oriented work attitude.
  • Proficiency with Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • More than 5 years of experience in the Telecommunication or IT industry as Sales, Sales Engineer, or Sales Marketing/Planning.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales control systems.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a related area or equivalent work experience.
