About the Role

The Account Manager role at PowerPak Civil & Safety LLC involves managing inside sales activities, primarily focusing on growing existing accounts and developing new business within the New York and New Jersey markets. The position requires working in an office environment in Congers, New York, and contributes to the company's growth and customer relationship management efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inside sales activities, including cold-calling decision makers and value selling to grow existing accounts.
  • Develop new business opportunities by hunting and establishing relationships with potential clients.
  • Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators related to sales targets and account growth.
  • Work independently in a satellite location while collaborating with a small team.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and sales success.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of prior B2B sales success selling commodities in a highly competitive market.
  • Proven track record of hunting and developing new business and handling rejection effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and goal orientation.
  • Experience with cold-calling, reaching decision makers, and value selling.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite is helpful but not required.
  • Prior success selling Industrial or Construction supplies to Construction Companies is helpful but not required.
  • Must be able to work in an office 5 days a week in Congers, NY.

  • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP.
  • Experience selling Industrial or Construction supplies to Construction Companies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience.
