About the Role

Our Account Managers serve as the go-to contact for our customers, embodying our purpose to make construction better by being their partner for productivity, safety, and sustainability. You will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts and be given ownership to build a work schedule that best suits you and your customers. You'll make sales by maintaining customer relationships, demonstrating our latest tools on the spot, and providing high level customer consultation. Key Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with customers by meeting with them at short notice or being actively present to capture business opportunities.
  • Creating value in accounts through long-term, profitable relationships.
  • Managing time and territory by creating a daily schedule that includes presence on jobsites and client offices to optimize sales productivity.
  • Representing the Hilti brand in the marketplace as a technical expert and customer consultant.
  • Tracking progress and interactions using Salesforce to record sales activities and report on performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least three years of outside sales experience, preferably in an environment with set targets.
  • Hands-on attitude with the ability to demonstrate tools and use platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and be prepared to drive a company car.
  • Excellent time and territory management skills.
  • Ability to walk on construction projects, climb scaffolding, and lift up to 65 pounds.
  • Work a flexible and varied schedule.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
