About the Role

Catalyx is seeking an Account Manager to join their team in Indiana, US. The company specializes in the science of operational processes, automating and servicing R D, production, packaging, and delivery processes across North America and Europe. Founded in 2022 through the merger of CXV Global and Panacea Technologies, Catalyx has a partnership-based culture with over three decades of experience helping organizations in highly regulated industries optimize operational efficiency, performance, and safety. The role involves driving business growth through new opportunities and long-term relationship management, with a focus on the life sciences industry and process automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities utilizing your existing extensive network of contacts within the life sciences industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the Pharma/ Life Sciences industry.
  • Understand customers' technical needs and provide solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales campaigns, supporting events and trade shows periodically.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Customer Success teams to prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to prospective customers.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports as part of the reporting rhythm of the company.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years sales experience in vision or process automation solutions delivering to the life sciences market.
  • A hunter mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify and close new business opportunities with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in sales across machine vision, factory and process automation, robotics, packaging line automation, Industry 4.0 solutions, track and trace, or MES in the life sciences sector.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with automation solutions in the life sciences industry.
  • Existing network within the Pharma/ Life Sciences industry.

  • Relevant sales experience in automation solutions for the life sciences market.
