About the Role

Addison Group is working with a well-established organization to find a skilled and service-driven Account Manager to join their finance operations team. This individual will support centralized accounting services and play a key role in managing vendor and partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for 40-60 partner accounts, responding to inquiries by email and phone
Address account issues such as delayed payments, invoice disputes, incorrect deductions, and rebate questions
Manage daily account follow-ups—approximately 80% via email and 20% by phone
Educate partners on portal usage, payment processes, and onboarding procedures
Track AR aging and collections, driving timely payment resolutions
Partner with internal teams to identify and resolve operational or accounting issues
Analyze accounts to spot trends and suggest improvements for service efficiency
Help coordinate internal workflows and delegate processing tasks as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
5+ years of professional experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Experience with financial systems and comfort navigating multiple software platforms
Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
