About the Role

The Account Manager - Renal Care at Mesa Laboratories, Inc. supports the Calibration Solutions business by selling advanced metrology products used in critical environments such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing. The role involves advancing Mesa Lab's Renal Care product line within the U.S. Dialysis marketplace and OUS Channel Partners, with a focus on solution-based concept selling to meet and exceed sales goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Remotely sell Mesa Lab's Renal Care Portfolio products and retain end user customers within all assigned customer accounts to achieve or exceed sales goals.
  • Identify customer needs and effectively address them with Mesa Labs products and services.
  • Generate interest and cultivate new sales opportunities through prospecting, leads management, referrals, and RFPs.
  • Maintain and expand business with existing customers by developing strong service and business relationships with multiple buying influencers.
  • Cultivate relationships and facilitate meetings between customers and Mesa Labs.
  • Utilize CRM and other standard Daily Management tools proficiently to drive priorities and manage by fact, maintaining CRM data continually.
  • Identify threats and opportunities using sales data and customer feedback.
  • Manage sales funnel effectively and provide accurate monthly forecasting.
  • Comply with company ethics, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety, diversity, and a harassment-free environment.
  • Participate in problem solving, Kaizen, and strategy events as needed.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training, and other internal meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with Mesa team members and assist in onboarding new hires.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and ethics.
  • Maintain a positive and courteous demeanor with guests and employees.
  • Work cross-functionally with service, customer service, finance, and marketing to develop solutions and solve customer problems.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in sales with medical device products.
  • Minimum 2 years of successful sales or experience with OUS Channel Partners.
  • Demonstrated effective presentation and sales planning skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver timely and useful multi-mode communications.
  • Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods; occasional lifting.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and customer relationship management.

Nice to Have

  • 5 years minimum experience as a sales leader with a demonstrated track record of above-plan performance in Medical/BioPharma, Industrial, or Technology industries.
  • Experience selling or working with Dialysis products and services.
  • Bilingual proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in sales with medical device products.
  • Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably with OUS Channel Partners.
