Account Manager (Grand Forks)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on retaining and growing existing accounts.
• Promote local service club and community involvement and attend local events to maintain presence in the market.
• Craft targeted strategies designed to meet specific client needs and provide product recommendations.
• Meet regularly with assigned client accounts to ensure client satisfaction with products and services.
• Provide clients with information about changes to products, underwriting policies, and billing procedures.
• Deliver member or client materials as needed.
• Support open enrollment meetings and provide client trainings, if applicable.
• Identify additional sales opportunities during the renewal process.
• Maintain knowledge of company products, industry regulations, and policies.
• Keep clients informed about company initiatives and programs highlighting benefits.
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth renewal and sales activities.
• Ensure documentation is completed and internal systems are updated.
• Develop professional rapport with clients to enhance business relationships.
• Travel outside of core business location is required.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of sales, marketing, or account management experience with strong insurance industry knowledge and customer service skills.
• Ability to research, analyze, and resolve issues as a problem solver.
• Desire to expand knowledge of evolving practices and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability in various situations.
• Creative mindset and proactive attitude to improve processes.
• Self-starter with high energy, commitment to excellence, and diligent work ethic.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills for managing varying project timelines.
