Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and referral sources, including physicians, discharge planners, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and case managers.
  • Drive new business opportunities by promoting home health care services to potential referral sources and ensuring a steady stream of client referrals.
  • Conduct regular sales calls and presentations to educate referral sources on services, patient care approach, and benefits of home healthcare.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure smooth coordination of care for patients and address concerns or issues raised by referral sources.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by implementing strategic sales plans, tracking performance, and identifying growth opportunities within the territory.
  • Monitor market trends and competition to stay informed about industry changes and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales activities, referral trends, and performance metrics to management.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and promote the company's services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure high satisfaction levels among referral sources and clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in the healthcare or home health care industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Understanding of the healthcare industry, home health care services, and referral dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-3 years of sales experience in healthcare or home health care industry preferred.
