Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Regional Sales Managers to develop sales plans that address targeted applications and support annual initiatives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams within Sales, Technical Services, etc. to convert leads into qualified opportunities resulting in increases sales and revenue.
  • Report on the region, including monthly forecasts, activities, key actions, key accounts and monthly sales plans and key initiatives.
  • Identify potential applications for further analysis and consideration. Highlight, report, and create translation packages for those opportunities that can generate additional Company revenue.
  • Work closely with Key Accounts to ensure a successful deployment of our technology and to develop additional opportunities within those accounts.
  • Collaborate with various teams (MarComm, Product Managers, etc.) to ensure our offering to the market is current and provides increasing value to customers.
  • Work with Marketing to assess market potential and regional landscape of applications or products, and generate campaigns targeted at specific products.
  • Understand and manipulate customer data to identify trends and prioritize accounts or applications where needed.
  • Create and submit regular reports and proposals regarding application development, market trends, new product development, and application information.
  • Ensure customer and sales data (activities, opportunities, account updates) are accurate and up to date.
  • Communicate and report all status updates to relevant parties.
  • Participate in sales training and meetings at various Company facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, with Engineering or Marketing highly desirable.
  • Strong engineering skills with 8-12 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • 7 years' experience recommending EFD top products in a technical support/key sales role is a plus.
  • Strong sales facing skills with a proven track record.
  • Knowledge of Contact Management systems (C4C, Salesforce, and/or SAP) is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (MS Teams a plus).
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Critical and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Energetic, outgoing, and tenacious communication style.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at top customer locations.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Contact Management systems (C4C, Salesforce, and/or SAP).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Teams.
  • Experience recommending EFD top products in a technical support/key sales role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Marketing (preferred).
  • 8-12 years of experience in an industrial environment.
