Account Manager Off-Premise - Small Format

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory and all aspects related to maintaining customer relationships, including inventory management, promotional events, point of sale marketing, pricing, cleaning and organizing space, selling/building displays, and maintaining account information in the VIP system.
• Learn product knowledge within the CBI portfolio and recommend products suited to the customer's business.
• Audit comparable brands for competitive pricing and manage the product portfolio by removing slow-selling items and replacing them with new products aligned with customer needs.
• Review account history and current sales data to identify product needs or changes.
• Identify opportunities to place POS, displays, signage, and other marketing materials to drive sales.
• Ensure shelves are adequately stocked, rotated, and audited for expired products, working back inventory as needed.
• Utilize budget resources to rotate and place products in various locations to prevent expiration.
• Review customer data, email communication, and management direction prior to sales visits, assess account opportunities, and execute sales strategies according to CBI standards.
• Visit designated accounts professionally, arriving in uniform, listening to customer priorities, and providing clear, honest communication with empathy.
• Use technology to assess sales data, forecast inventory levels, and submit accurate daily customer orders.
• React with a sense of urgency to customer requests and follow up regularly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with management, support staff, and decision makers to ensure the execution of Champion Brands' mission.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Sales Relief or Proficient knowledge of technology tools and resources.
• Reliable automobile transportation and the ability to maintain driving privileges and insurability.
• All driving positions require collision and comprehensive coverage with Champion Brands listed as an 'Additional Interested Party'.
• Bodily Injury Liability Limit: $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident.
• Property Damage Liability Limit: $100,000 per accident.
• Preferred: College Degree and 1-2 years of sales experience.
