About the Role

Account Manager, SLED at Check Point Software Technologies, a leading vendor of Cyber Security solutions. The role involves managing strategic accounts within the assigned region, building strong relationships with clients, resellers, partners, and distributors, and identifying growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop strategic accounts within your assigned region.
  • Establish contacts within all functional areas within an account and build a rapport and relationship.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within targeted accounts.
  • Build and maintain a strategic plan for each account ('Account Plan') which is accurate, actionable and measurable.
  • Develop strong relationships with Resellers, Partners, and Distributors to bring maximum value to the client.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Large Account Management experience, with prior experience selling to SLED focused accounts and the ability to sell to the C-Suite.
  • Background in selling network, cloud, and/or endpoint security products and services.
  • Familiarity with North East U.S. based accounts and an actionable 'rolodex' of decision makers.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a strong closer.
  • Ability to travel locally and overnight as required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with selling to government or education sectors (SLED).
  • Existing relationships with decision makers in the North East U.S. region.

Qualifications

  • Experience in large account management and selling cybersecurity solutions.
  • Ability to build and execute strategic account plans.
  • Strong organizational and closing skills.
