About the Role

Reporting to the Division Sales Manager - Targeted Accounts, the Account Manager - Targeted Accounts will contribute to BeOne's overall sales objectives by performing assigned sales activities. The role involves providing physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals with products, services, and information to enable safe and effective prescribing of BeOne's portfolio. The focus is on strategic initiatives in high performing accounts to support the Hematology and Solid Tumor franchises, with an emphasis on managing territory and ensuring compliance with drug laws and regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, an entrepreneurial mindset, and results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promotes BeOne's Hematology and Solid Tumor products through calls on targeted physicians in the assigned territory.
  • Implements sales, marketing, and patient support programs to acquire and retain appropriate patients on BeOne's products.
  • Trains and educates physician support staff on the proper use and handling of BeOne's products.
  • Ensures healthcare professionals have realistic expectations regarding product use with patients.
  • Maintains communication and integrates activities with BeOne's Market Access and Customer Enterprise teams, collaborating with Field Medical when appropriate.
  • Identifies customer prescribing trends and territory dynamics, coordinating resources to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Completes all clinical and sales training, including eLMS/Compliance Wire assignments.
  • Performs administrative functions such as reporting call activity, entering customer/account information, submitting expenses, and utilizing the corporate credit card.
  • Ensures compliance with BeOne policies and procedures, including healthcare compliance and adverse event reporting.
  • Assists in identifying and resolving opportunities and challenges, communicating insights proactively to leadership.
  • Works effectively in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

Requirements

  • A B.A. / B.S. degree or relevant experience.
  • Previous pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and sales management, with significant oncology experience.
  • Self-starting, self-managing, and independent work style.
  • Results-oriented with a strategic focus on sales.
  • Experience in specialty sales, understanding reimbursement, distribution, managed care, and various markets such as hospital and managed markets.
  • Ability to measure and analyze KPIs and ROI.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proven usage track record.
  • Ability to develop new business and demonstrate resilience in challenges.
  • Highly skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Expertise in high-stakes conversations with diverse customer opinions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50-75%, including daily and overnight travel.

Nice to Have

  • Spanish speaking ability.

Qualifications

  • BA / BS Degree preferred or relevant experience.
