About the Role

Elevate your career as a Full-time Account Specialist, where you can take your sales and customer service skills to the next level. You'll be on the front lines of growing and supporting our branch key accounts, through building relationships and matching products and solutions to customer needs. This position is for our branch located at 42 Gateway Dr, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and executing a sales plan in a local territory to reach and exceed sales goals
Supporting the day-to-day needs of the branch's key accounts
Working directly with key accounts
Growing and maintaining an assigned book of business
Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

Requirements

Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province, and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle if needed
Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing or have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills
Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs, up to 75lbs
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)

Nice to Have

Experience with sales or customer service in an industrial or construction supplies environment
Additional industry certifications or training

Qualifications

Valid driver's license
Degree in Business/Marketing or related industry experience
