About the Role

The Acquisition Account Executive, Power & Grid at Schneider Electric is a strategic business development role focused on identifying, engaging, and converting high-potential prospects within the Utilities, Renewable Developers, and Independent Power Producers landscape. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive solution sales across Schneider Electric's portfolio including electrical distribution, motor control centers, grid automation systems, protection relays, power monitoring and control platforms, energy management software, and lifecycle services.
  • Functionally lead and align a virtual team of BU sellers, technical experts, project managers, and partners to deliver integrated, customer-centric solutions.
  • Work with teams of quotation specialists, contract managers, project managers, and supply chain to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Set growth strategy for assigned accounts and lead strategic joint account planning.
  • Demand generation, identify target buying committees, and prioritize pursuits.
  • Cultivate client, channel, and external strategic relationships to drive large transformative deals and ecosystem-led growth.
  • Identify and manage the pipeline of opportunities across customer sub-segments.
  • Align with project delivery resources to ensure a VIP customer experience throughout the sales, delivery, and service lifecycle.
  • Develop relationships between Schneider Electric and key customer decision-makers, positioning Schneider as a strategic customer and supplier.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to support strategy delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in strategic, relationship-centric sales, preferably in energy, utilities, or renewables sectors.
  • Proven success in solution selling and managing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, automation, energy management, and digital solutions.
  • Experience working with or selling to utilities, IPPs, or renewable energy developers.
  • Advanced experience in Solution Selling, Outcome-Based Selling, and Customer-Centric Selling.
  • Ability to understand complex requirements, communicate client needs, challenge solutions, and close strategic transactions.
  • People management experience with a coaching and collaborative leadership style.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new business.
