About the Role

The Adjunct Instructor for MK351 Principles of Marketing at Park University is responsible for teaching a blended/hybrid course that combines in-person and online instruction. The role involves delivering course content related to the marketing mix and management, with an emphasis on student engagement both on-site and through the Canvas Learning Management System. Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis, and the instructor must complete required training and orientation prior to teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach the MK351 Principles of Marketing course in a blended/hybrid format, with 60% in-person and 40% online instruction.
  • Complete required online Canvas LMS orientation and any additional departmental training before teaching.
  • Deliver course content related to the marketing mix (product, promotion, distribution, and price) and marketing management.
  • Ensure student engagement and facilitate learning in both on-site and online environments.
  • Adhere to university policies and participate in any scheduled training or assessments as required.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Ph.D. in Marketing or ABD status.
  • Related work and/or academic experience in marketing.
  • Experience with online learning platforms, specifically Canvas LMS, is preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete an online Canvas LMS orientation course.
  • Must be able to work on-site at the designated campus location.
  • Background check and government security clearance to access the base.

Nice to Have

  • Ph.D. in Marketing
  • ABD (All But Dissertation) status
  • Experience with hybrid or online teaching formats

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in the relevant field
  • Related work and/or academic experience in marketing
