About the Role

The Advanced Advertising Account Manager is a strategic partner supporting the Enterprise Advanced TV Sales Team at Spectrum Reach, the advertising sales division of Charter Communications. The role involves providing support to sales efforts, managing client relationships, and driving strategy for national brands across direct-sold and programmatic advertising channels. Spectrum Reach offers custom advertising solutions utilizing data insights and creative services across multiple markets and states, helping businesses reach audiences on any screen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience for advanced TV deals.
  • Partner with Sales to understand client KPIs/ROIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective proposals.
  • Utilize Spectrum's data assets and research metrics to create proposals including targeting and measurement recommendations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in advanced advertising for internal teams and clients across direct-sold and programmatic channels.
  • Understand key performance metrics for multi-screen campaigns to maximize inventory usage, ensure proposal delivery, and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Drive advanced advertising strategy and revenue by partnering with teams such as Marketing Research, Audience Analytics, Yield & Inventory, and others.
  • Manage client relationships and act as a point of contact for client questions in partnership with Sales and Account Specialists.
  • Stay informed on marketplace trends related to clients and the advanced advertising industry.

Requirements

  • Expertise in the advanced advertising space and knowledge of media terms and media math.
  • Ability to differentiate client needs, such as 'branding' campaigns versus 'call to action' campaigns.
  • Understanding of relevant metrics for measuring campaign performance.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to leverage cross-functional resources.
  • Experience supporting sales, advertising, or marketing teams is preferred.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate data and prioritize workload.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and spreadsheets.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with multiple departments.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with direct-sold and programmatic advertising, CRM platforms, and ad serving software.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in media sales or as a media buyer for 3-5+ years.
