Job Description

About the Role

The Advertising Account Executive, Market Retail at Comcast Corporation is responsible for developing, servicing, and maintaining a base of local clients and/or agencies who purchase advertising space or other media services. The role involves achieving established sales goals within the assigned sales team, offering zone buying opportunities to small advertisers, and working with moderate guidance in their area of knowledge. The position supports local, regional, and national brands in reaching potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising, leveraging advanced data, technology, and premium video content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, develops, and presents market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products.
  • Assists in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue.
  • Interacts with various internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising, monitoring account activities, and managing collections.
  • Maintains up-to-date customer and prospect records and participates in the development of sales forecasts.
  • Completes required documentation and reporting for contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense reports.
  • Seeks new customers by continuously prospecting following company's sales strategies and tactics.
  • Analyzes confidential information, prepares reports, manuals, agendas, and general correspondence.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Works flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong sales skills, including experience with new customer acquisition and sales revenue generation.
  • Ability to analyze market research and develop advertising proposals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise discretion.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in media sales or advertising industry.
  • Knowledge of multiscreen TV advertising and ad tech platforms.

Qualifications
