Job Description

About the Role

As a member of the Solution Consulting team at ServiceNow, you will support Solution Sales by providing technical expertise and solution positioning during sales cycles. You will work closely with Sales, Product Management, and the executive team to develop and demonstrate product-specific solutions, helping to drive revenue and customer success in a global organization that leverages AI-enhanced technology to empower organizations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team.
  • Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners, and colleagues.
  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and add value.
  • Share and learn best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to improve team efficiency.
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and guiding sales execution.
  • Familiarity with Financial Services, Insurance, and Manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to deal with challenging customers and maintain deep attention to detail.
  • Well organized and understands the platform selling motion.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as necessary.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Value AI.
  • Experience with automating workflows and analyzing AI-driven insights.
  • Knowledge of the impact of AI on industry and work processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in solution consulting or sales engineering for 7+ years.
