About the Role

The Director Salesforce for Communications and Media is responsible for managing sales funnels, driving demand through solution-led selling, and engaging with customers at the CXO level. The role involves owning Salesforce-focused deals, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with global teams to close deals. The position leverages domain and technical expertise to identify and demonstrate solutions, and works closely with Salesforce on joint pursuits and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate proactive demand through solution led selling and other instruments
  • Customer liaison through thought leadership led CXO engagement
  • Own and manage Salesforce focused deals
  • Identify new opportunities and work collaboratively across diverse global teams towards successful deal closure
  • Leverage domain expertise to identify problems to solve across the Communications and Media value chain
  • Leverage technical expertise to identify solutions
  • Be able to demonstrate solutions
  • Influence partner engagement
  • Work with Salesforce on joint sales pursuits, solution developments, and marketing activities

Requirements

  • Overall, 10-15 years of IT experience
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM implementation projects (preferably SFDC but not mandatory)
  • Excellent understanding of Telecom or Media CRM journeys (Salesforce or Siebel/ Amdocs/ Netcracker/ Hansen)
  • 2+ years in CX consulting working with customers to identify and solve business problems
  • At least 1 Telecom BSS or Media transformation program experience within the last 5 years with in-depth understanding of industry domain and trends
  • Ability to manage diverse teams and project stakeholders (Customer & TCS management, Salesforce)
  • Experience working with teams based in multiple time zones
  • Innovation and growth mindset
  • Willingness to learn and work in Salesforce

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range of $147,000 to $203,000 a year
