Product Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support to frontline sales teams, including troubleshooting, new product implementation, process optimization, and trial leadership.
• Identify and clearly define customer needs, leading internal collaboration to deliver the best solution.
• Select appropriate products from the portfolio based on business needs and product line strategy.
• Propose product modifications in accordance with customer needs and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, and R&D teams to determine feasibility and total product cost for final offers.
• Develop and deliver technical and product-related presentations to customers and the general market, including case studies and white papers.
• Understand the competitive landscape and provide relevant input.
• Utilize CRM systems to manage responsibilities, collaborate, and record important sales data.
• Comply with company policies including Code of Conduct and expense reporting.
• Implement and promote value-based selling approaches through customer engagement and account management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related business area; MS/MBA preferred.
• Customer-focused with a dedication to meeting customer expectations.
• Results-driven with accountability for achieving performance objectives.
• Strong relationship management skills, both internal and external.
• Excellent collaboration and influence skills.

• Business acumen and understanding of fundamental business principles.

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Experience in the chemical industry or related technical fields.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and technical presentation development.

Qualifications
