About the Role

As a member of the Solution Consulting team at ServiceNow, you will support the Core Business Services with a focus on Employee Workflows for the Public Sector, State and Local team. You will guide revenue for specific products by collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and the executive team. This role involves being a hands-on technical consultant capable of solution delivery and positioning during sales cycles, helping organizations work smarter, faster, and better through innovative AI-enhanced technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, position, and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert within a client-facing sales team.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify customer challenges and give product demonstrations to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues.
  • Provide feedback to product management about potential product enhancements to address customer needs and add value.
  • Share and learn best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to improve team efficiency.
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions.
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with Sales to guide execution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Travel as necessary.

  • Experience working with AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's impact on industry or functions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about AI integration into work processes.
  • Proficiency with cloud software solutions or the ServiceNow platform.
