About the Role

The Ag Equipment Sales & Customer Account Manager at Jamestown Central Sales, Inc. is responsible for assisting customers with their agriculture equipment needs, promoting the dealership's machinery, and building strong customer relationships. The role involves educating customers on equipment features, providing solutions, coordinating with the service department, and contributing to sales goals within a dealership environment located in Jamestown, ND.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers to the dealership, introduce yourself and the business, and get to know the customer's needs.
  • Provide solutions to satisfy customers' machinery needs that are profitable for both parties involved.
  • Stay in contact often, follow up after the sale, and provide after-market solutions.
  • Assist with parts counter sales and marketing of seasonal specials.
  • Coordinate with Jamestown Service Department for service needs.
  • Continue to learn about customer needs and discover additional solutions.
  • Demonstrate and train customers on equipment features and use.
  • Create purchase orders for units with proper pricing and programs.
  • Submit customer credit applications for financing.
  • Deliver sold units and pick up trade-ins.
  • Attend and participate in weekly wholegoods L10 meetings.
  • Actively participate in reaching monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Promote the dealership's core values and participate in team and CSI development.

Requirements

  • Solution-minded individual with the ability to assist customers with their equipment needs.
  • Ability to promote and demonstrate equipment features and use.
  • Experience or willingness to learn about equipment features and self-educate.
  • Ability to create purchase orders and handle customer credit applications.
  • Availability to work during specified hours, including seasonal on-call after hours.
  • Willingness to participate in team meetings and achieve sales goals.

Benefits & Perks

  • Hourly wage starting at $18.00/hour, negotiable based on experience.
  • Monthly sales commission of 10% of gross margin on wholegoods sales.
  • Year-end bonus up to 15% of wages based on sales and goals.
