About the Role

The Alliance Business Development Director at NVIDIA for Pure Storage is responsible for leading and developing the partnership with NVIDIA, focusing on revenue growth through co-sell strategies, ecosystem development, and strategic alliance management. This role involves building strong relationships with NVIDIA stakeholders, driving joint business initiatives, and representing the alliance at key industry events. The position is based in Santa Clara, CA, and requires a strategic, innovative approach to technology and market execution within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve key metrics of the NVIDIA Partnership including revenue, pipeline, alliance supported and sourced opportunities, and business plan adherence targets.
Develop mature commercial relationships between Pure stakeholders and NVIDIA counterparts.
Build strong internal (Pure) and external (NVIDIA) cross-functional relationships to drive seamless technology and market execution within your regions.
Establish yourself as the trusted, ‘go-to' resource for all partner and customer-facing NVIDIA alliance business development opportunities.
Lead the interlock of cross-company commercial stakeholders including sales executives, account teams, co-marketing, and event support.
Design co-sell strategies that capitalize on emerging trends, NVIDIA initiatives, and create programs to maximize selling advantages with NVIDIA.
Establish a strategic global perspective regarding Pure's go-to-market with NVIDIA, including initiatives with the Pure ecosystem and GTM partners.
Act as a NVIDIA Alliance spokesperson at key events.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience leading NVIDIA as a Global Alliance or working at NVIDIA with Partners and Co-sell programs.
9+ years of professional experience in roles that have consistently achieved revenue and technical business development targets with alliances.
Proven ability to achieve revenue targets while balancing strategic initiatives.
Experience leading quarterly business reviews, establishing governance models, and defining strategic objectives and key results for alliance business.
Strong existing relationships and relationship development experience with key NVIDIA executives and business line leaders.
Experience enabling, evangelizing, and educating field sales teams and channel partners.
Deep understanding of NVIDIA's products, operations, organization, and lines of business.
Ability to develop an understanding of Pure's product and joint solutions to articulate a value proposition.
Exceptional communication skills and experience presenting and evangelizing alliance messages internally and externally.
Strong business acumen and ability to build relationships with executive and sales leaders in the NVIDIA ecosystem.
Effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders including sales, alliances, product units, marketing, legal, and operations.
Self-motivated team player with experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Willingness and ability to travel as relevant.

Nice to Have

Experience working in a similar alliance or partnership leadership role at NVIDIA or similar technology companies.
Knowledge of the data storage industry and related emerging trends.
