We are seeking an empowered Director of Business Development that acts as the engine of growth through the execution of strategic campaigns that generate new business opportunities. This role ensures Threat Tec is consistently in front of the right customers at the right time to communicate current and strategic capabilities delivering innovative services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains legitimate relationships with key government customers and viable partners to derive win strategies and performance-based solutions to satisfy client needs.
  • Provides leadership, management and oversight of pursuits and capture activities and tracks and reports progress towards meeting/exceeding company level established goals for awards, proposal submissions, and pipeline growth.
  • Coordinates meetings with customers, competitors, and teammates to develop market insights relating to requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices.
  • Works with VP of Operations to fully understand current programs and core capabilities and translates long and short-range market trends to develop integrated solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborates with functional corporate leaders to proactively develop integrated strategies to lower opportunity and performance risks while maintaining continuity and situational awareness across the company.
  • Participates in business planning activities to include pipeline reviews, strategic plan development, gate reviews, solution sessions, black hats, and proposal reviews.
  • Facilitates collaboration sessions with solution architects and subject matter experts to derive viable technical approaches and establish measurable strengths to deliver integrated solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Exhibits flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing market which requires forward thinking, adaptability, and creativity to work outside of the traditional comfort zone.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required in a related field.
  • Top Secret clearance required.
  • Experience working with GOVWIN, SAM, Salesforce, Bloomberg or any other related systems or tools used for success with business development.
  • Prior Military or DOD/Federal Service/GovCon experience is a positive.
  • A history of business development success is essential.
  • 10 years of experience in business development or a related field.
