About the Role

Toyota's Marketing Communications department is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Communities Media Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to guide the development, execution, optimization, and measurement of fully integrated media plans, including paid, earned, and owned media, supporting Toyota's community-based marketing strategy. Reporting to the Communities Media Manager, the role involves collaborating with internal teams and agency partners to develop effective media strategies that align with Toyota's campaign, marketing, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency teams to create, implement, optimize, and measure fully integrated National media plans, including paid, earned, and owned media, to reach desired objectives supporting Toyota's community-based marketing strategy.
  • Support internal customer research partners and agency teams to identify and analyze community target audience media behavior trends.
  • Create and execute on media research objectives and deliverables, such as focus groups and surveys, to inform media planning.
  • Work closely with agency partners to establish and evaluate media measurement objectives and KPIs.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multiple Marketing internal stakeholders (e.g., Vehicle Marketing and Communications, Digital site properties team, Sponsorship and Engagement, Cross-Tier Media, Brand, PR, Sales/Incentives, Business Analytics) to ensure alignment across content development, earned media, PR, owned social, cross-tier media and paid media strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency analytics and skills teams to develop and implement campaign measurement and reporting plans to monitor and evaluate performance for media plan optimization and input for future campaign planning.
  • Support Toyota's business and marketing objectives through communication and collaboration with key media, agency, and business partners.
  • Develop presentation materials to communicate key media initiatives such as media campaign launches and media innovations to leadership, internal stakeholders, and field sales offices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or closely related field.
  • Experience in Media, Advertising, Marketing, Market Research, and/or Strategic Planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and with multiple teams/business partners.
  • Highly organized with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and agency teams in a dynamic environment, while continuously prioritizing tasks.
  • Strong skill-set in critical thinking, problem solving, relationship building, and time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to Have

  • MBA, Marketing.
  • Solid experience in Media, client and/or agency.
  • Understanding of the digital marketing landscape and digital media tactics and measurement.
  • Experience interfacing with and presenting to executive leadership.
  • Understanding of automotive marketing structure across Tiers 1, 2, and 3, and their respective roles.
  • Excellent expertise in creating engaging presentations and storytelling.
