About the Role

Carlyle seeks to hire a Product Specialist within AlpInvest's Investor Relations Team. The Analyst will work across AlpInvest's product lines including Secondary, Co-Investment, NAV Finance, and Primary Investments, supporting efforts in Institutional and Private Wealth channels. The role involves supporting senior team members, coordinating investor requests, serving as a segment expert, and interacting with existing limited partners and investors. The successful candidate must build expertise in key strategies, prioritize multiple projects, and work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and updating of marketing/fundraising materials, due diligence request responses/presentations, RFIs and RFPs
Support development of due diligence materials and legal documentation
Preparation of client portfolio review materials and investment plans
Handle on-going and ad hoc investor requests
Support in the development of new investment solutions
Maintenance of investor pipelines and diligence request trackers
CRM maintenance and use of various reporting platforms to obtain usable LP data
Assist with onsite investor meetings and conferences

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in analytical subject (e.g., Finance, Economics, Econometrics or Engineering) preferred, with good academic results
1 - 3 years of relevant work/internship experience
Experience in investor relations or business development within financial services, investment banking, capital markets, asset management, management consulting, international law firm or comparable blue-chip companies
Fluency in English
Proficiency in any Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese) considered a strong plus
Ability to understand and evaluate both quantitative data and legal documents
Excellent computer skills, including ability to learn and become a subject matter expert in relevant systems
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude with initiative
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including Excel and PowerPoint)
CRM system experience including DealCloud is preferred
Ability to quickly develop competency in manipulating reporting platforms and systems

Nice to Have

Proficiency in any Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese)
