About the Role

Being an Analyst at Google is about much more than simply crunching numbers - it's about finding compelling insights within data and using your exceptional business and communication skills to translate those insights into action. As one of the masterminds behind our strategic planning, forecasting and analysis, you'll spend your time digging into big, complex data sets. The data will not remain inert in your hands, however, since you'll use your critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills to influence and drive thoughtful and well-informed decision making with our most senior business leaders within the organization, and potentially some of our biggest clients. In this role, you will help our customers to achieve superior results through outstanding and relevant business analysis, insights, and recommendations. You will work with global companies consulting on measurement solutions, business opportunities, and are growth mindset-driven. You will focus on Google's advertising clients in GCAS, using data and analytics to transform the businesses of some of the largest companies in the world. You will be a problem solver with a deep understanding of client objectives, comfort with data, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit to take ownership of solving key challenges such as measurement attribution across platforms, consumer insights, and digital media strategies. Google’s GCAS helps leading brands navigate the complexity of global marketing, utilizing Google's products, talent, and insights to improve marketing performance and shape industry innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advance measurement maturity with Google's global customers (Toyota and Sony).
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and earn their trust by telling stories with data, both visually and verbally.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with influential cross-functional teams to deliver the best of Google to our clients.
  • Analyze internal and external data to identify opportunities, anticipate risks, develop solutions to customer marketing challenges, and measure success.
  • Advise on marketing analytics, including attribution, lifetime value, customer segmentation, behavior insights, data integration, and measurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience with data analysis using tools such as SQL, Looker, PowerBI, or other data analysis software through full-time roles, internships, or coursework.
  • Experience influencing or selling to C-level stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform).
  • 1 year of client-facing experience, with the ability to influence across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables).
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and distill them into actionable insights presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

  • Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range of $118,000-$174,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
