About the Role

onsemi is seeking a seasoned Applications Engineering and Product Lifecycle Transformation Leader at the Member of Technical Staff Grade level to drive product planning and lifecycle management initiatives. This strategic role involves leading AI-first, data-driven transformations in product definition, launch, and retirement processes, ensuring comprehensive go-to-market plans and technical collateral are in place. The candidate will partner with cross-functional teams across product marketing, Applications Engineering, R&D, IT, Sales, and Operations to enhance product planning, lifecycle processes, and product management outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead AI-first, data-driven transformations in product planning, launch, and retirement processes.
Drive the development of comprehensive 'whole product' strategies, including technical collateral and go-to-market plans.
Partner with teams across product marketing, Applications Engineering, R&D, IT, Sales, and Operations to accelerate product planning using AI where possible.
Improve product lifecycle processes and ensure robust end-to-end management of products from concept through end-of-life.
Lead cross-functional taskforces (such as WPP, PLM) and drive process improvements beyond immediate teams.
Coordinate globally dispersed stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Requirements

Deep experience in semiconductor product marketing and applications engineering.
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage cross-functional projects.
Passion for learning AI and utilizing AI to transform business processes.
Knowledge of semiconductor business processes, including product marketing and applications engineering.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
