Job Description

About the Role

We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Area Marketing Director to oversee marketing across six key lifestyle properties in the Miami region, including two new hotel openings and two branded residences. This is a high-impact, independent role best suited for a versatile, hands-on marketer who can lead regional efforts without dedicated on-property teams. The role involves driving local, regional, and international marketing plans, developing neighborhood and Miami-based partnerships, delivering events and cultural programming, and building brand equity across properties in the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-property brand storytelling, supporting both hotel and residential concepts in alignment with The Lifestyle Group's brand vision.
  • Develop and manage annual marketing plans and pre-opening strategies tailored to each property's identity and timeline.
  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact across the properties, collaborating with GMs, sales, F&B, and corporate partners.
  • Drive full go-to-market plans for properties including pre-openings and post-launch activities.
  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns, launch events, and press moments with regional relevance and community impact.
  • Work closely with PR and creative teams to develop content, programming, and cultural activations.
  • Own the full content and social media strategy for each property, managing content creators and digital partners.
  • Develop paid and organic social strategies to support growth, bookings, and cultural moments.
  • Manage relationships with media, VIPs, creators, and influencers to drive awareness and buzz.
  • Lead press events, media stays, and familiarization trips to generate coverage.
  • Partner with F&B teams and cultural institutions to bring neighborhood-relevant events to life.
  • Oversee all creative collateral including flyers, menus, signage, and branded assets.
  • Develop and track marketing budgets, report on KPIs, campaign performance, ROI, and media coverage.
  • Ensure marketing strategies support business during low occupancy periods and manage costs effectively.
  • Present monthly results, ROI, and activities to ownership and corporate leadership.

Requirements

  • A seasoned marketer with 3-5 years of experience in lifestyle, hospitality, or F&B.
  • A self-starter who thrives without day-to-day oversight or on-property support.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, influencer engagement, paid media, and cultural trends.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities with grace and grit.
  • Passionate about hospitality, culture, and crafting unforgettable brand moments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting hotel openings and pre-opening strategies.
  • Experience working with cultural programming and regional partnerships.
  • Strong network within Miami's cultural and hospitality scene.

Qualifications

  • Educational background not specified.

Benefits & Perks

  • Not specified in the description.
