Job Description

About the Role

Supports with the progress and day-to-day management of all Global Product Marketing programs, including innovation, assortment and pricing strategy, global promotional initiatives, and development of the global marketing calendar. Collaborates with and supports leaders of Global Marketing, Product Marketing, and Cross Functional teams to help identify and develop product strategies supporting sales growth, profitability, brand equity, and competitive position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute innovative product development and pipeline strategy in support of brand’s strategic direction and priorities, informed by recruitment and loyalty drivers.
  • Own product marketing briefs from Concept stage to execution and/or hand off, with oversight of Executive Director.
  • Serve as project manager for marketing stage gates and deliverables, consistently communicating key milestones to team and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop and demonstrate deep understanding of NPL processes and workstreams beyond Marketing, including packaging, supply chain/sourcing, creative/design.
  • Partner with Executive Director on management of program financials including COGS from concept to final approval and global forecasting guidelines.
  • Present program strategies and marketing briefs to brand leadership, regional partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Act as an authoritative source for all program information, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communications between Global and Regional levels.
  • Proactively communicate important program updates to brand, team, and regional leaders.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.
  • Own marketing-driven business reporting and analytics, managing collection and analysis of shipment, sell-through, and market data.
  • Collaborate on annual SKU rationalization and portfolio analysis exercises to maintain productivity and profitability.
  • Analyze external product financials such as sizing and pricing, and make recommendations based on market intelligence.

Requirements

  • Position requires 2-4+ years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to synthesize data to drive business decisions.
  • Forward-looking thinker with trend-hunting mindset.
  • Demonstrates inquisitive approach to decision making.
  • Has omni-retail acumen and facility to drive demand across channels including DTC, Online, SMC.
  • Utilizes consumer journey analytics and insights to develop effective marketing plans.
