About the Role

The Department of Business Administration in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a tenure-track position in Marketing. The position begins in August 2026. The University of Delaware is an R1 research university with a strong emphasis on research and teaching, located in Newark, Delaware. Key Responsibilities

Pursue a high-quality research program with the objective of publishing in top-tier journals in the field of Marketing.
Demonstrate potential for high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
Primary teaching responsibility in marketing, with an initial teaching load of three courses per year.
Engage in minimal service requirements as a junior faculty member.

Requirements

Possess a Ph.D. in Marketing or related fields.
Have a record of publishing in top journals in the field.
Show evidence of highly effective teaching in graduate and/or undergraduate courses.
Candidates currently holding tenure-track appointments at other institutions are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Marketing or related fields.
Experience with publishing in top-tier journals.
Effective teaching skills at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
