About the Role

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the specified location(s). No relocation is offered. The Chief Information Office is responsible for advancing information technology performance and delivering solutions focused on maximizing ROI, increasing efficiency, and enhancing the end-user experience. The role involves designing, developing, and managing activities for a specific Business or Consumer product/service or group of products/services from definition through lifecycle management, including complex products or product lines, with a focus on building the next generation of AT&T field operations and IT ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees managers that research, design, plan, develop, and evaluate new products or features by translating and documenting customer and technical requirements into final product design
  • Analyze customer needs, identify priorities for new products or services and enhancements
  • Conduct research and analysis on defined market, including revenue potential, competitive analysis, product functionality, customer segments, volumes, and revenue results
  • Prepare and present requirements, plans, and business cases for new or modified products and services
  • Partner with business, technology, and UX teams to design or modify products to meet market, budget, and schedule specifications
  • Create product roadmaps, service guides, product documentation, results reports/analysis, and project plans
  • Manage budgets, acquire estimates, and requests for funding through the capital process
  • Serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing as products move to production and distribution
  • Manage ongoing lifecycle product performance
  • Define and drive initiatives to grow revenue and margin, and collaborate with various teams to develop pricing strategies
  • Work with third-party technology partners in support of new product development
  • Negotiate with vendors to improve product cost structure, feature functionality, and support
  • Handle assigned complex products or product lines as a subject matter expert

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a similar area of responsibility
  • Expertise in Field operations from the IT side
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
