Key Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm with Sales, Marketing, and Editorial to develop strategic media plans and custom campaign executions based on client needs, inventory and historic success.
  • Work with sales, marketing and media planning to build strategic media plans.
  • Manage insertion orders, proposals, campaign scheduling, and inventory conflict resolution.
  • Maintain workflows with advertising proposals, including analytic runs, filling out relevant documents, providing historical rate information, and strategic insight.
  • Serve as point person for custom ad executions, custom content creation, and custom activations.
  • Oversee ad operations: launching, optimizing, QA, and troubleshooting creative assets and rich media.
  • Regularly monitor and reconcile campaign delivery across third-party ad serving systems.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports, and work closely with Sales to communicate campaign changes, technical issues, launch delays, etc.
  • Analyze campaigns and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to achieve client goals, including addressing campaign adjustments, technical problems, and launch postponements.
  • Collect and QA ad tags and creative; monitor and reconcile campaign delivery across systems.
  • Analyze performance, deliver client objectives, and communicate updates across departments.
  • Book magazine insertions; resolve billing issues with the Controller; support special projects.
  • Prospect new clients.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in account management, media planning or a similar digital role.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, DFP, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Keynote.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail; adept at multitasking in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of branded content, native advertising, and third-party ad serving platforms.
  • Experience with HTML and rich media troubleshooting.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and provide excellent follow-through.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in digital account management or media planning.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 annually.
