The Associate Brand Manager role supports the development and execution of brand strategy focusing on the next 1-2 years, working closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to drive market activation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage timely communication of marketing initiatives to cross-functional groups including sales team, distributors, marketing teams, and senior management.
  • Develop comprehensive presentations for partners, retailers, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with shopper and sales counterparts to identify opportunities and develop marketing programs for key customers.
  • Build tools that enable Corporate & Field Marketing teams to execute successful 360-degree programs.
  • Convert data into actionable insights for growth using syndicated POS data and shopper panel data.
  • Manage budget including monthly reconciliation and provide weekly sales insights, shopper trends, and brand health updates.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing initiatives such as retail marketing, field marketing, public relations, and digital/social media programming.
  • Support the integration of innovation into plans and collaborate on successful product launches.
  • Develop briefs for creative projects and provide feedback to ensure alignment with brand strategy.
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to deliver impactful creative, media plans, and consumer promotions.
  • Collaborate with media teams to develop tactical media plans and content, ensuring impactful brand communication.
  • Support the development of the annual brand strategy and plans in collaboration with the Brand Manager and Brand Director.
  • Manage cross-functional team members on deliverables for multiple projects.

Requirements

  • Hybrid schedule at Whitestone, NY office required (3 days in-office).
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business; MBA preferred.
  • 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in marketing.
  • Experience in Brand or Media Marketing with focused CPG products, preferably beverages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Nielsen, IRI, or other quantitative research tools.
  • Strong analysis, strategic thinking, creative thinking, team leadership, planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adjust quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
  • Skills in collaboration, communication, cross-functional teamwork, marketing, organization.

Nice to Have

  • Love of sports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business.
  • MBA (preferred).
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in marketing.
