About the Role

The Associate Brand Manager will support in shaping and developing the Valvoline retail services brand across the growing systemwide network. They will collaborate cross-functionally to create brand relevancy with consumers, ensure consistency of our brand across all channels, and help develop activities that support the brand equity and drive profitable growth. This person will be responsible for working with internal and external creative agencies in creative campaign planning and execution as well as supporting in content development for influencer campaigns and other owned channels (website, organic social etc). Key Responsibilities

  • Support in development of regional and national advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business goals including authoring and delivering of creative briefs.
  • Collaborate with creative agencies to execute, and optimize TV, online video, radio, out of home, digital, and social media advertising based on consumer insights generated from market research.
  • Manage project timelines to ensure on time delivery of assets to media partners.
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer insights to refine messaging and improve effectiveness.
  • Work in concert with internal media strategist and media agencies to deliver channel appropriate and best practice creative executions that deliver on key media KPIs.
  • Support managing the production of photo shoots & video shoots and full managing of audio/radio spots to create high-quality brand assets for advertising, digital, and in-store use.
  • Assist in development of brand visuals, guidelines, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Partner with franchise marketing and franchisees to provide compelling content that enhances brand storytelling.
  • Partner with owned channel teams to identify and help plan content needs for website, organic social channels, and CRM channels.
  • Manage execution of content for influencers, educational videos, graphics, etc., aligned with brand strategy.
  • Support overall brand measurement of campaign assets including creative testing, ad/brand tracking, and brand lift.
  • Conduct routine analysis of competition, category, customer, and consumer.
  • Oversee brand asset library to ensure assets are properly stored and tagged.
  • Support management of non-working creative development budget including agency scopes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand communications, or advertising (retail, automotive, or service industry experience is a plus).
  • Background in advertising and content development.
  • Experience managing photo/video shoots, radio spots, and brand asset development.
  • Ability to develop strategic messaging that connects with consumers and drives engagement.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Detailed oriented, ability to work independently, self-motivated.
  • Analytical skills to assess campaign performance and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Experience working with creative and media agencies.
