About the Role

The Associate Brand Manager of Value will assist the Director of Value in developing pipelines of audience and insight-based promotions to support an 18-month calendar. This role involves leading project management of promotions from start to finish, including ideation, screening, collaboration, validation, and launch of ideas to the national calendar. The position is based in Plano and is part of a company with a rich history of success and innovation in the restaurant industry, emphasizing breakthrough innovation, diversity, and a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead smaller cross-functional teams of fit and finance to refine loose ideas into tangible, on-strategy, insight-based concepts aligned with brand and business goals.
  • Manage the screening of concept iterations with target audiences to finalize builds.
  • Establish concepts in the stage-gate process as validated projects through early innovation stages.
  • Create project teams and work cross-functionally to confirm operational and financial feasibility of concepts, leading teams through operational testing.
  • Manage project teams through development and execution of test phases, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of marketing materials.
  • Develop materials to gain internal and external alignment for tests and campaigns.
  • Manage project teams through development and execution of national campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication of value innovations.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting value innovation progress at key events such as NPC and NCAC Quarterly Meetings.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, or Social Sciences with career aspirations in consumer marketing.
  • 4 years of experience post undergraduate degree; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in project leadership with a track record of delivering results through strategic planning.
  • Proven ability to drive growth in an entrepreneurial environment with a startup mentality.
  • Product management experience leading multi-functional teams using stage-gate processes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Deep analytical skills with the ability to utilize data for decision-making amid ambiguity.
  • Experience building empathy with customers and extracting insights through fieldwork and co-development exercises.
  • Knowledge of marketing, pricing, and bundling fundamentals, including creating offers, price points, and value propositions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the restaurant category, foodservice, or CPG.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, or Social Sciences.
  • 4 years of post-undergraduate experience; MBA preferred.
