About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically manage end-to-end paid media programs across all digital channels including paid social, programmatic display, online video (YouTube), influencer marketing, connected TV (CTV), digital audio, and more.
• Support traditional media integration with channels such as out-of-home and broadcast media to ensure a cohesive brand presence.
• Partner with digital media agencies to develop, activate, and optimize campaigns aligned with brand objectives and KPIs.
• Create and evolve media strategies based on audience insights, channel performance, and brand goals across digital properties.
• Serve as the connector between Brand Strategy and Media Execution teams to ensure cohesive communication and execution.
• Review and traffic digital media assets, providing strategic and creative feedback to ensure timely and quality campaign launches.
• Utilize analytics and past performance insights to test, refine, and improve campaign effectiveness through data-driven optimization.
• Ensure paid digital campaigns are integrated with offline media and personalized marketing strategies.
• Identify and propose new digital media opportunities across channels and platforms for Santander and Openbank.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, Web/Graphic Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in paid media advertising with hands-on campaign management across major digital platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry or a highly regulated vertical.
• Proven expertise in digital media buying and cross-channel campaign execution including paid social, programmatic, online video, influencer marketing, digital audio, and connected TV.
• Strong understanding of media planning, measurement frameworks, and campaign analytics.
• Deep familiarity with compliance considerations for financial services advertising, especially in social and digital media.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting strategy and performance.
• Highly organized, adaptable, collaborative, with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-channel paid campaigns and delivering measurable results.

• Relevant professional experience in digital media advertising and campaign management.
