Key Responsibilities

  • Develop data-based insights to inform brand, franchise, and business unit strategy and execution.
  • Lead performance/KPI development and reporting enabling a thorough understanding of brand performance and opportunities based on a variety of inputs.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing leadership to establish an annual business analytics plan.
  • Leverage data and analytics to develop key insights to inform the brand's strategy and tactical plan.
  • Conduct analytics projects to inform various business issues, including patient journey analytics, treatment flow analytics, customer segmentation, etc.
  • Conduct performance reporting and diagnostics, including design and implementation of HQ-facing dashboards and reports.
  • Evaluate potential new secondary data sources and analytics methodologies to elevate the impact of business analytics continually.
  • Integrate insight and analysis from various sources to inform material decisions through the delivery of robust opportunities and market context.
  • Consolidate a variety of data and information into actionable brand opportunities.
  • Provide objective quantitative analyses and develop business cases to determine key opportunities and address critical business issues for the brand and/or Therapeutic Area.
  • Collaborate within the department to ensure business analytics context is integrated into Tactic Measurement and Marketing Mix work to inform Forecasting and identify opportunities to incorporate AI/Predictive Analytics.
  • Interact with internal customers including VP, executive directors, marketing team, and IT.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships within key segments of the Commercial organization.
  • Act as a cross-functional subject matter expert and advise on decisions impacting business operations.
  • Lead and conduct quarterly functional reviews with key VP, Senior Directors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage projects, tasks, and activities of up to 1-2 direct reports.
  • Coach, mentor, and support career development of key individual contributors.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholder groups in Marketing and Commercial operations.
  • Manage external consulting resources for project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and Ten Years' Experience.
  • OR Master's Degree and Eight Years' Experience.
  • OR PhD and Two Years' Experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant software systems (e.g., MS Excel, Access, MS Word & PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in secondary data analysis with knowledge of industry secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA, SHA).
  • Demonstrated ability to collate insights from various sources and develop strategic guidance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a matrix team environment and gain consensus.
  • Experience managing projects, initiatives, and people for at least 10 years (preferred).
  • Advanced analytics and people management skills (preferred).
  • MBA or Master's degree with concentration in healthcare, management, analytics, or data sciences (preferred).
  • HIV pharma experience is highly desirable.

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic guidance from insights.
  • Experience with AI/Predictive Analytics capabilities.
  • Experience managing projects, initiatives, and people for 10 years.
  • MBA or Master's degree with a focus on healthcare, management, analytics, or data sciences.
  • HIV pharmaceutical industry experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or PhD with corresponding years of experience.
  • Proficiency in relevant software systems.
  • Experience with secondary data sources such as IQVIA, SHA.

  • Salary range: $195,670.00 - $253,220.00, with factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
