About the Role

Join our dynamic team as our Associate Director, Digital Platforms! This pivotal role will involve managing day-to-day technology operations and implementing innovative solutions to drive our programs and initiatives forward. Working closely with the Senior Director of Technology and the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for managing our digital technology stack and overseeing the creation and distribution of digital content. The position is primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings in the Metro NYC area. TAP promotes a culture that affords calendar flexibility and control, supporting a mission to empower under-resourced small business owners through strategic, financial, operational, and marketing support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer key applications, databases, and cloud platforms including donor management systems, fundraising platforms, collaboration tools, and the TAP Community Platform.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for core technologies such as MailChimp, Vimeo, YouTube, Weebly/Square, Wix, Register.com, YouCanBookMe, Canva, Salesforce, FormAssembly, Qgiv, Google Workspace, Zoom, Monday.com, Lattice.
  • Oversee data hygiene and security across all digital platforms, contribute to data cleansing, ensure compliance with IT policies and privacy regulations, and manage a digital asset library.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology, including AI advancements, and assess their potential for organizational efficiency, recommending and implementing new tools.
  • Offer technical onboarding and training for new team members, and provide audio/video support for meetings.
  • Work with the Marketing team to maintain and optimize the TAP website using Wix, improving functionality and applying SEO best practices.
  • Lead the implementation of email marketing initiatives, segment audiences, and manage email lists to optimize engagement.
  • Manage technology infrastructure and data analysis for fundraising campaigns, implementing data-driven strategies to optimize efforts and donor retention.
  • Distribute digital content across platforms, manage a content calendar, and oversee social media publishing on LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, extracting insights to inform decision-making and report on digital efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in technology support and/or digital marketing, ideally within a nonprofit or similar environment.
  • Proven proficiency in managing social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and cloud-based systems like Google Workspace.
  • Experience with graphic design and the ability to learn new platforms such as Salesforce, Mailchimp, Monday.com, Lattice, Qgiv, Zoom, Vimeo, Weebly/Square, and Wix.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, in writing and verbally.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, flexible approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience delivering TAP (or similar) services to clients is a plus.
  • Passion for TAP's mission and fostering a collaborative, innovative, and positive workplace culture.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing responsibilities and willingness to upskill as organizational needs evolve.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (required).

Benefits & Perks

  • $55,000- $65,000 annually based on full-time status (40 hours/week), commensurate with experience.
