About the Role

As an integral member of S&P Dow Jones Indices' (S&P DJI) Cryptocurrency and DeFi marketing team, this position is responsible for leading product marketing initiatives that drive awareness, adoption, and engagement of S&P DJI's cryptocurrency and decentralized finance offerings. This role will focus on crafting compelling product narratives and content strategies that resonate with target audiences in the dynamic digital asset landscape. The individual will collaborate closely with product management, sales, and other marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of product marketing strategies that drive revenue and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that highlights S&P DJI's cryptocurrency and DeFi products. Create high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and educational materials that effectively communicate product features, benefits, and market insights.
  • Develop and refine the positioning and messaging for S&P DJI's cryptocurrency and DeFi products. Craft compelling narratives that highlight the unique value propositions and benefits to various audiences, including institutional investors, fintech partners, and retail users.
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful rollout and market penetration of cryptocurrency and DeFi offerings.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform product development and marketing strategies, ensuring S&P DJI's offerings remain relevant and competitive.
  • Engage with key partners and clients globally to promote awareness and adoption of S&P DJI's cryptocurrency and DeFi products. Develop tailored marketing strategies to nurture relationships and drive product usage.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of content marketing and product marketing initiatives. Provide regular reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in product marketing within financial services, with a strong focus on cryptocurrency and/or decentralized finance preferred.
  • Proven expertise in content marketing and content creation, with a portfolio of successful campaigns and materials that demonstrate effective messaging and audience engagement.
  • In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and the product development lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of developing successful product marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with product launches, go-to-market strategies, and account-based marketing in the cryptocurrency or fintech space.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tactics, including social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred).
  • 7+ years of professional experience in product marketing within financial services, with a focus on cryptocurrency and/or decentralized finance.
