About the Role

The Associate Director, Product Marketing - Wealth Benchmarks at S&P Dow Jones Indices is responsible for leading product marketing initiatives that enhance awareness, adoption, and engagement of wealth benchmark offerings. The role involves developing compelling product narratives and content strategies, collaborating with product management, sales, and marketing teams to position S&P DJI as a leader in the wealth benchmarks space, and driving revenue and market share through strategic marketing activities within the broader commercial organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that showcases S&P DJI's wealth benchmark products.
  • Create high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and educational materials that communicate product features, benefits, and market insights.
  • Develop and refine the positioning and messaging for wealth benchmark products, highlighting unique value propositions to institutional investors, financial advisors, and retail clients.
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful rollout.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, utilizing insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Engage with key partners and clients through account-based marketing strategies to promote awareness and adoption of wealth benchmark products.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of marketing initiatives and provide regular reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in content/product marketing within financial services, with a strong focus on wealth benchmarks preferred.
  • Proven expertise in content marketing and content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating effective messaging and audience engagement.
  • In-depth understanding of wealth management, investment strategies, and the product development lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of developing successful product marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in Asset Management preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with product launches, go-to-market strategies, and account-based marketing in the wealth management or financial services space.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tactics, including social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and external partners.

Qualifications
