About the Role

The Associate Director, US HCP Marketing, Neurology, gMG at Alexion Pharmaceuticals is responsible for driving strategy and tactics within the healthcare professional engagement space. The role involves leading the development and execution of HCP engagement initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally with medical, commercial, and other internal teams, and managing marketing communications. Key Responsibilities

Leading the creation and implementation of the US HCP engagement strategy, tactics, and budget allocation.
Leading the development and execution of HCP speaker programs, national congresses, ad boards, resource development, and Annual Needs Assessment process for HCP engagements.
Using data-driven approaches to develop KPIs and monitor the performance of peer-to-peer strategies and tactics.
Applying industry best practices to enhance the consistency and effectiveness of HCP engagement initiatives.
Partnering with commercial colleagues to gather market insights through TLL engagements and ad boards to identify key drivers of business growth.
Collaborating with Medical and TLL teams to develop and refine the KOL engagement plan.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional areas and internal strategic partners, including TLLs, Operations, Market Research, Promotional Review Committee, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Field Sales, Training, and Market Access.
Managing marketing communications via written and oral presentations to commercial and medical leadership.
Managing agency partners, project timelines, and budgets.

Requirements

5+ years of professional pharmaceutical or biotech experience in competitive market landscapes.
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Strong experience in HCP marketing, digital and non-personal engagement.
Ability to learn and display scientific data and business acumen.
High level of interpersonal, collaboration skills, and effective verbal & written communication.
Ability to work in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel 25%+ of the time.

Nice to Have

Advanced Degree or an MBA.
Experience in rare diseases, specialty, or high-value biologics.
Diverse commercial experience including field sales, operations, TLL.
Demonstrated project management skills.
