Key Responsibilities

  • Independently engage as a business partner to the US Commercial Oncology team for ongoing commercialization activities.
  • Earn status as a trusted advisor by embedding customer and market insights and analytics into business decision making.
  • Partner with key stakeholders within the US Commercial Oncology Team to support strategic and tactical commercial decisions through market research, secondary data analytics (performance measurement, segmentation, etc.), and forecasting.
  • Execute business analysis to improve value to patients through deepened market understanding, subject matter expertise, and practical application.
  • Deliver integrated insights across analytical functions such as forecasting, market research, secondary data analytics, and addressing key business questions to drive performance.
  • Support a culture of fact-based decision making by applying innovative and appropriate methodologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Brand Leadership, Sales Operations, Medical, and Finance to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Proactively manage flow of analytics requests, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of US Oncology brand priorities.
  • Demonstrate and drive adherence to all BMS operating policies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a relevant functional discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior pharmaceutical industry and/or consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience leading commercialization analytics projects, including exposure to advanced techniques such as behavioral science and advanced quantitative models.
  • Ability to draw inferences from disparate data, identify key findings, and provide recommendations.
  • Highly collaborative team player with effective influence skills in a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with polish and credibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to answer key business questions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, meet deadlines, and operate with agility and speed.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with advanced quantitative models and behavioral science techniques.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting.
