About the Role

The Associate Director, Immunology Pipeline Commercialization Analytics is a key member of BMS' US & WW Commercialization Analytics team, serving as a thought partner for Commercial, Finance, and other matrix teams to drive insights and analytics. This role involves managing Immunology Pipeline Commercialization Analytics efforts, providing strategic guidance, and supporting decision-making for the immunology portfolio within a company committed to transforming patients' lives through science. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Immunology Global Commercial Strategy team to provide commercialization analytics input to shape strategic business plans, program strategies, and launch plans within the immunology portfolio.
  • Design and lead comprehensive primary/secondary market research plans addressing brand strategic imperatives in immunology, and deliver clear recommendations.
  • Generate, present, defend, and maintain short/long term forecasts for Immunology pipeline assets.
  • Develop and deliver concise presentations synthesizing market research, secondary data, and other insights to demonstrate understanding of market dynamics and competition.
  • Oversee core forecasting activities, including developing advanced MS Excel-based models, gathering assumptions from matrix teams, and analyzing market and competitive environments.
  • Collaborate across matrix teams to support governance activities related to Immunology pipeline development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide end-to-end support for internal commercial questions regarding marketplace activity, competitor products, or market changes to aid decision-making.
  • Work extensively with Data Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Market Access, and other teams to identify unbiased insights and provide a unified business view.
  • Support ad-hoc activities such as business development assessments, earnings preparation, onboarding senior leaders, and other critical projects.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor support resources to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to all BMS operating policies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Biotech or Pharma experience in Market Research and/or Forecasting.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD preferred.
  • Strong understanding of market research functions with knowledge of forecasting, secondary data analytics, or marketing science.
  • Extensive experience with primary research and secondary data sources.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and connect analytics with business strategies.
  • Skill in managing ambiguity and operating with less-than-perfect data using logical frameworks.
  • Ability to develop innovative approaches to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality control of deliverables.
  • Experience in immunology is preferred.

Qualifications

  • BA degree required; Masters or PhD preferred.
