The Associate Manager, Integrated Media Planning is accountable for the planning, implementation, and tracking of media plans. They partner with the Associate Director or Account Director to set the strategic tone and direction for planning deliverables. The Associate Manager also assists in the development of important plans, projects, or presentations to the client. They have a strong working knowledge of the media space, including digital media and available media research. As a stepping-stone to leadership, the Associate Manager is responsible for managing a planning team, including skills development, evaluating performance, and supporting growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approach any situation with energy and interest, displaying passion for pop culture, trends, and motivations in consumer behavior.
  • Develop insights and use data to support strategic thinking through critical thinking skills.
  • Continuously seek to understand how data is leveraged for reporting, strategy definition, strategy defense, and uncovering new opportunities.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to achieve deliverables and support team development.
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships, practicing understanding and a desire to do what's best for the team and the client.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of digital experience, preferably in direct response.
  • Graduate of a four-year college or university.
  • Knowledge of traditional channel planning (TV/OOH) and/or digital; nice to have but not required.
  • Ability to guide campaign strategy from start to finish.
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external teams.
  • Ability to delegate and mentor associates.
